Though both of us would have rather met in person and avoided the long distance we had for the first 2 years we were together- the odds of us meeting were very small. Out of millions of people that happened to be online that day, we ended up in a game together and we instantly knew we were meant to be. We were inseparable since that very moment, and our relationship began on 12.4.2021. Two years later, we finally met in person for the first time. Since then, we visited each other traveling the 800miles every few weeks. We finally got engaged on 6.22.2024. Through the years we have been through many tough times, but we have always persevered and made our relationship stronger. All of this has proven to us that our love is something we will both fight for forever.

We will have a casual reception, but please wear one of the following for the ceremony: Gentlemen: A nice button up or polo and some dress pants/khakis in neutral tones.Ladies: A nice knee length or longer dress or jumpsuit in neutral tones. We appreciate your fashionable and neutral colored attire for our ceremony photography! See the photos below for color ideas.

Enter the park, drive straight past The Rookery building, pull into the parking lot on the left. There is a short path to the Moonseed Bunkhouse labeled with signage.

ALL GUEST  STAYING IN BUNKHOUSE MANDATORY CHECK IN: September 25th @3pm

We have reserved the Moonseed Bunkhouse and Cabins at the Hoover Forest Preserve. All guests are welcome to stay at the Moonseed Bunkhouse, it is fully paid for.There are 8 bunkbeds to a room, so guests will be together with others. If you choose to book a hotel instead, that will be your expense.

Recommended Packing List for Staying in Bunkhouse

-Blanket and pillow for your bunk-Personal hygiene items (shampoo, toothbrush/paste, etc.)-Towels and/or washcloths-Causal clothing (for after ceremony)-Sleepwear The Moonseed Bunkhouse has a full kitchen, heating, 2 private showers and toilets per bathroom (Men's and Women's), and a lounge area for guests.
